The 2nd Annual Hootenanny was more of a success than we ever dreamed. Okay, maybe we dreamed this shit, but we never expected it to really go down. It's only been two years since we began building bike culture in this little southern city and people showed up in force from Chicago, Springfield, Little Rock, Denver, and as far away as Washington state. I was overwhelmed at the paltry 20 that partied at the Goddamn House friday night only to tear up at the sight of 50 or more freakbikers at my back squeaking down the streets of Nashville. We drank, we danced, we took our pants off. Thank ya'll for coming out. I can only imagine what next year will be like. Make my dreams come true. Again. Oh yeah, send me links to pictures and shit so we can show the whole world what they missed.

2nd Annual Hank's Happy Hootenanny

September 15th Nashville Rat Patrol will host a day of freakbiking, alley games and drunken debauchery on the occasion of Hank Williams' birthday. The "schedule" should be something resembling the following:

9:00 am - wake up hung over
9:01 am - tell hang over to fuck itself, start drinking
10:00 am - begin preparation of birthday meal for Hank
11:00 am - tell Hank to fuck himself, he's dead/ stuff face
12:00 pm - nurse the itis, drink more
3:00 pm - sufficiently brunk, ride dikes
5:00 pm - " "
6:00 pm - dick around, play games, draw blood
10:00 pm - honky-tonkin'
12:00 am - Rassle Club hosts 1st annual Rasslin Tournament (prizes?)
1:00 am - dance party at the Goddamn House
2:30 am - mad dash to Circle K for more beer
3:00 am - more drinking, dancing...
11:00 am - wake up sticky broke and confused
